Robert Cauble is a visual artist who works primarily with moving images and stories.  He was born on Oahu, a small scenic island in the Pacific Ocean.  Though he has spent most of his life elsewhere, he vividly remembers the island’s warm rocks and tropical flowers.

 

Cauble’s artwork has been presented at various museums, galleries, and film festivals including the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London, The International Film Festival Rotterdam, and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid.  He is currently working on two long-format videos- one inspired by a missionary’s life, the other by a television commercial.  He lives and works in Chicago.
